Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM Morning Worship

This Sunday, we gather to worship our Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Pastor Bob will lead us to Jesus’ words from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 7.  We will dwell in Jesus’ wisdom on Hypocrisy and Generosity.

Free Prayer Journals are still available in the Fellowship Room and ARK.

Coming in June/July:

June 30 – Congregation votes to call Josiah Huisman to be a Minister of the Word in the CRC in order to loan him to First Reformed Church of Zeeland.
June 30-July 7- Heritage hosts Family Promise families!  Volunteer today!
July 7, 14, 21 – ARK/Sanctuary morning worship combined in Sanctuary
July 28 – Byron Day’s Community Worship at Whistlestop Park, 9:30 AM, bring a lawn chair!

Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village.  Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

5:00 PM – “Service” Sunday
For two of our Sunday evenings this summer (June 23 and August 18) we will gather at 5:00 PM to be like Jesus and do good on the Sabbath by serving others.  The Pastoral Elders approved this experiment for one Sunday evening a month to seek to gather all ages together to share the love, compassion, and good news of Jesus.  This Sunday, we will create care packages and send encouraging notes to our missionary partners across the US and worldwide.

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
