GEMS SUNDAY – Rise Up!
We gather weekly to worship the Lord God Almighty, creator of the heavens and the earth. This Sunday we celebrate with our girl’s club, the GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior). The GEM’s theme for the year has been RISE UP: Lessons from Queen Esther. We will hear God’s call to trust in him as we examine their verse of the year, Isaiah 40:31
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
We will also have an update from our Director of Kid’s Hope, Heather Oosterman, and our Director of Outreach, Elisabeth Richards.
Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village. Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.
11:45 Church-wide Potluck Luncheon
Make plans to gather for lunch – build new friendships and enhance old ones. Sit with another household and enjoy some sweet fellowship. If you are able, bring a main course and salad to share.

Holy Catholic Church and Communion of Saints
We continue our series, We Belong, on the truths of Scripture summarized in one of our confessions of faith, the Heidelberg Catechism. We are currently examining the phrases of the Apostles’ Creed, and looking at the “holy catholic church and the communion of saints”. John 10:28-30 and Romans 12:4 will guide our reflections together.
