SUMMER SONGS: “HELP”
This Sunday, we gather together to worship God the Father Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth. Pastor Bob will open God’s word to Psalm 121 as part of our Summer Songs series. This is a Psalm of “Orientation” compared to others that can be classified as “Dis-Orientation” or “Re-Orientation”. We will wonder about what are the false places/people/things from which we seek help today. And we will discover from where our true help comes.
We will also pray for Abby Herrema who is preparing for a mission trip to the Czech Republic and we will prepare to celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday evening.
We are planning on ice cream treats being available for our fellowship time after worship!
Note: Starting Sunday, June 25 through Sunday, July 23, sanctuary and ARK worship gatherings will be combined in the sanctuary. Take the opportunity to introduce yourself to someone. We look forward to resuming worship in the ARK in August.
Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village. Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.
5:00 PM Sunday Evening Worship
We gather together to sing God’s praises, pray for one another, and dive deeply into the good news of Jesus our Savior and Lord. We will explore the angles of salvation in Christ including “Substitution”, “Atonement” and “Propitiation”. Our text will be Matthew 27:11-26.
