Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
Jesus Loved His Mom
On the fifth Sunday after Easter, we give thanks to God for the many women who have impacted our lives and have reflected the strength and heart of God to us.  We will also lift up to God in prayer those for whom Mother’s Day is one of the most challenging days of the year.  Together, we will learn from Jesus and his love for his mother which was spoken from the cross and recorded in John 19.

Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village.  Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

Mother’s Day Sunday is a “Family Day” and we will not gather for evening worship.

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
