9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
Following Jesus: Part 3 of 4
On the third Sunday after Easter, we continue to explore the question, “What if Easter was True?”. If it was, then Jesus’ Words are the words we should follow. If it’s true, then Jesus’ Ways are what we should follow. This week, we look at Jesus’ Ways from the first followers in Acts 2:42-47 and the Gospel of Matthew.
We will also fill out Affirmation Ballots for nominees for the offices of elder and deacon and welcome two new households to our community.
Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village. Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

WE BELONG
We will gather to lift up the name of Jesus above every other name and to worship our great God and King. Our only comfort is life and in death is known by being aware of three things. The first is how great our sin and misery are. We will looks at the biblical truths summarized in Lord’s Day 2 of the Heidelberg Catechism and reflect on Mountains of Mercy and Missing the Mark alongside Genesis 1-3 and Exodus 20.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14
