Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM – Sunday Morning Worship

How are Christmas (celebrating the birth of Jesus) and the Fourth of July (celebrating the birth of a nation) the same and different?
While we still grieve not being able to gather on Christmas Eve or Christmas day, we look forward with eager anticipation to this Sunday as we gather to worship our great God and give Him thanks for the gift of His Son, our Savior, JESUS!  We will remember the Christmas story from Scripture and recognize that Jesus came to save and rescue us from our sins, and to reveal the way to the Father.  The good news from Matthew 1 and Luke 2 will guide us along the way as we “Uncover the Christ of Christmas”.

Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village.  Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

January 1 is a  Family Day – no evening worship gathering.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
