Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:15 AM TSO Prelude
Some of our musicians have prepared a musical treat for Sunday morning.
Come early and enjoy a prelude of songs from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO).

9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
A Weary World Rejoices: TROUBLED
We will remember the reason for the season when we are weary from troubled hearts.
This Sunday we continue the season of Advent that calls us “to meditate on the three “comings” of Christ: his birth at Bethlehem, his coming into our lives today, and his final coming at the end of time.”  Jesus’ words in John 14:27 are “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. “.

Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village.  Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

5:00 PM – Sunday Evening Worship

As we gather, we will celebrate the four great songs of Luke’s gospel.  In music and word, we will give thanks to God for the gift of his Son and discover what God is doing when he comes in person to the world.  Our texts will be from Luke 1 and 2.

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
