Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
The Kingdom is Here!
We welcome back to Heritage, Pastor Jim and Shelley Boer.  Pastor Jim will conclude our delayed and extended 50th-anniversary celebration.  We were delayed by Covid and we extended our timeline because of some of Pastor Jim’s recent health concerns.  We are so thankful to God for the opportunity to gather together and give God thanks for His great faithfulness to Heritage for 50+ years (52 years and 4 months). Pastor Jim will share a message from Mark 4:26-29 entitled, “The Kingdom is Here!”.
We are very excited about another installment of Finding God outdoors: Student Edition Part 3 of 4.
This Sunday is Worldwide Communion Sunday and we will conclude our time of worship with a celebration of the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.  Our seminary intern, Kang Heo, will assist us with the Lord’s Prayer in Korean.

Note 1:
Currently, we are planning on our first Sunday back in the Sanctuary for October 9.
and we are planning on our rededication of the sanctuary and church-wide lunch on October 30.

5:00 PM Sunday Evening Worship
“Being a Spirit-Filled Leader” is the message that Seminary Graduate Brad Diekema will share from Acts 6:1-7.  Gather for worship, prayer, the study of God’s Word, and Christian fellowship.

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
