9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
“CHURCH SET UP FOR THE LONG HAUL”
In what country of the world is Christianity growing the fastest?
If you said, “Nepal“, you would be right. This Sunday morning, our missionary partners, Arbin and Bimala Pokharel, who are serving in Nepal, will share with us what God is doing in their country and encourage us with a message from Acts 14.
We will also welcome four new households to our Heritage family:
The Burgesses, Huismans, Irwins, and the Stulps.
We will say “thank you” to our Director of Outreach, Shari Murdock, who will fbe stepping down from her position because she has accepted a full-time administrator position at Friendship CRC.
Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village. Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.
5:00 PM Sunday Evening Worship
This will be the final entry into our summer series, SummerSongs: The Psalms. Our focus will be on Psalm 139 and the Inescapable God. We will wonder whether God knows our anxious thoughts.
Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church. We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world. We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Summer Worship in the ARK and Fellowship Room
Our Sanctuary Renewal Project began on Monday, June 13. We will worship in the ARK from Sunday, June 19 til the middle/end of September.
Due to a few supply chain challenges, we expect to return to worship in the sanctuary on Sunday, October 9.
Additional worship space (and coffee) is now available in the Fellowship Room.
SummerSongs – Thank You!
The conclusion of our SummerSongs series will take place this Sunday, August 28 at our 5:00 PM service with a sermon on Psalm 139.
This summer, our morning worship services will focus our hearts on the book of Psalms – our biblical songbook or prayer, praise, and lament. The Psalms are the favorites of many Christians. Thank you for your suggestions. We have twice as many suggestions as Sundays in the series. Some Sundays we will combine some of the suggestions if the Psalms are similar in focus e.g. lament, praise of our Creator, etc. Looking forward to digging deeper with you into the Bible’s songbook for life!

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14
