Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

Sunday Instrumental Prelude starts at 9:22 AM
Tomorrow morning, Sunday, December 19,  will be filled with beautiful Christmas music.  If you want to take in all of it, the instrumental prelude will start at 9:22 AM!

CHANGED.  The Shepherds were changed by meeting Jesus.  That is the case for everyone who meets Jesus.  We will look closely at Luke 2 and the shepherds who left glorifying and praising God.  Why do you think God choose the shepherds to be the ones who heard the angelic announcement of Jesus’ birth?  We will gather to celebrate God’s great love in Christ Jesus.  Our music ministry will include guest harpist and soloist, Shannon VanZegeren.

5:00 PM – 12 Days of Christmas
A special service for young families and anyone who would like to discover the story behind a favorite Christmas song, The 12 Days of Christmas.  Heritage member, Paul Burgess, has designed a multi-sensory experience to give thanks to God for the gift of his Son, our Savior, Jesus.  A special gift will be available for every household with young children or those who are young at heart.  Of course, delicious Christmas cookies will be available as we share together in the ARK Advantage…a.k.a. extended time for fellowship and refreshments.

Christmas Eve – 11:00 PM
Make plans to invite a friend or family member to join you at our Christmas Eve worship service on Friday, December 24 at 11:00 PM.  We will welcome Christmas morning at the stroke of midnight.  Kids in pajamas are welcome!

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
