Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
Radical Generosity.  After hearing a fierce warning from John the Baptist to repent and turn your life around, we also hear this week, God’s call to radical generosity.  “Anyone who has two shirts should share with one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same” (John 3:11).  We will zoom in on John the Baptist who gives the call to justice and the compassionate life and quotes the prophet Isaiah who says, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him” (Luke 3:4).  Make God continue to prepare us to celebrate the birth of Jesus and long for His return.

5:30/6:00 PM Live Nativity
At 5:30 and 6:00 PM we are hosting our Live Nativity outside on the front lawn here at church. We will be acting out the Luke 2 story while having live animals for kids to come in and pet. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to invite family, friends or neighbors to attend with you. You will find invitations cards in your church mailbox or in the back of church. Take some time and pray about who God might be calling you to invite. Join us for a great night. Donuts, hot chocolate and gifts for the kids will be provided.

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
