Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

9:30 AM Sunday Morning Worship
Are you familiar with the path from discouragement to despair?
As we gather together to worship God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, we will explore one of the most fascinating stories of the Old Testament – I Kings 19 and the prophet Elijah traveling from Mout Carmel to Mout Sinai where he hears the voice of a God is a whisper.  Does God Still Whisper today?

5:00 PM Evening Worship
We return to our series, GratitudeX10, examining the prohibitions and positive call on our lives of God’s Ten Commandments.  This week, the commandment, “You shall bear false witness against your neighbor” includes the call to Love the Truth and to Guard and Advance my neighbor’s good name.

Sneak Peek – Thanksgiving Day Worship

Thanksgiving Day Worship will be at 9:30 AM.  Come early for breakfast served by our high school students and fellowship with our church family.  Our Thanksgiving Day Worship will include time for your Ebenezer Stone testimonies of God’s faithfulness during this past year.  You can also submit a video of your testimony of God’s faithfulness and send it to Pastor Bob by Sunday, November 21 to be included in our Thanksgiving Day Worship Celebration.  ( or 616.682.7685).  Assistance with recording a video is available as well.
Our time of worship will conclude with a Celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
(Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” I Samuel 7:12)

Thank You for your Gifts, Tithes, and Offerings
Thank you for your generosity to Christ’s Church.  We encourage you to prioritize your local church in your giving because the local church is the bride of Christ, and Jesus is the hope of the world.  We excel in the grace of giving when we honor God with our time, our treasures, and our talents.

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
