Welcome to our New Staff Members!

When we started praying for new staff members, we didn’t know how long it would be before God would fill our three open positions.  Today, we are so grateful for God’s answers to our prayers and are excited to briefly introduce them to you.

Our new Director of Technology (15-20 hours a week) is Heritage member, Kristy Tuttle.  Kristy has been a key volunteer in our technology ministries and we are thankful to have her join our staff.  Kristy has already begun her work as Director of Technology.

Our new Director of Outreach (15-20 hours a week) is Heritage member, Shari Murdock.  Shari has served on our Outreach Committee, led Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry, and has been part of our Spring Break Mission Trips.  Share is currently a volunteer in our Selah Ministry.  We are so pleased to welcome Shari to our staff.  Shari anticipates starting her new position sometime in September.

Our new Pastor of Caring (15-20 hours a week) is Rev. Dan Mouw.  Dan is a retired Christian Reformed pastor who served most recently at South Grandville CRC in Grandville, MI.  He currently serves Classis Grandville as Stated Clerk.  We are confident that his heart for pastoral care ministry and his decades of ministry experience will be of great value to our church and our staff.  Rev Mouw will begin his ministry with us on September 19.

A big thank you to Tom Johnson (chairperson) and the Personnel Committee who drafted, updated and revised job descriptions for our new staff members.  They posted positions, processed applications and conducted interviews in order to make recommendations to our Council to fill these three positions.  We are grateful for your good work.  Well done!

We will formally introduce our new staff members in the next few weeks during a morning worship service and share more of their biographical information with you at that time.

For now, we invite you to give thanks to God for his blessings to Heritage and to look forward with hope for what God has in store for his gathering of Christ-followers at Heritage who are serving Him, his people, and his world together!

Pastor Bob Huisman
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity.  Colossians 3:12-14
