Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

Friends,
As conditions change in our state, be sure to check out the changes to our worship plans below.

Sunday Morning, July 12 at 9:30 AM
Gathering ONLINE
for Worship
This Sunday, July 12, we continue our series on Sacred Rhythms and look at the prayer of EXAMEN.  In Psalm 139, David gives us an example of becoming more aware of God’s presence in our lives and more aware of our own failings.  The Psalm concludes with this fierce request,
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Sunday Evening, July 12 at 8:00 PM
Gathering
OUTDOORS for Worship
We will gather together outdoors (weather permitting) in song, prayer, and God’s Word.  Worship safely and socially distanced from a blanket, a lawn chair, or your vehicle.  We are aiming at 30-45 minutes.  Individually wrapped Ice-cream treats will be available.
We are returning to our series on the Gospel of John and taking a close look at John 10:22-30.  When we think of John 10, we often think of the “good shepherd”.  Verses 22-30 help us see what it means to be “True Sheep”.

Sunday Morning, July 19 at 9:00 AM
Gathering
BOTH Outdoors and Online for Worship

Next Sunday, July 19, we will gather BOTH online and outdoors (weather permitting).  Our outdoor gathering will be at 9:00 AM (note the earlier time for shade and temperature considerations).  Our online morning worship will continue to premier at 9:30 AM.
Sunday Evening Connection, July 19 at 5:00 PM
Gathering Online
We will gather online for a time of devotion, scripture, and prayer with one of our pastors at 5:00 PM on Facebook Live.

Pastor Bob Huisman
May God go before you to lead you and behind you to protect you,
May God go beneath you to support you and beside you to befriend you.
    Do not be afraid.
May the blessing of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and Holy Spirit
be upon you.  Amen.
