This Week:
Sunday, January 12
9:30 – On the second Sunday of the year (weather permitting), we gather to worship our great God and begin our 50th-anniversary celebration! We welcome back to Heritage our very first pastor and his wife, Rev Jay and Beverly Pruim. Jay and Beverly served Heritage from 1971-1976 while the congregation was worshipping in Byron Center Christian School. Jay will open God’s word with us from Proverbs 18:10-11 under the theme, “A Strong Tower”. Tom Tiemeyer will also introduce this year’s Spring Break Mission/Service Trip.
11:00 – Sunday Morning Conversation with Dr. Ron Duemler. Ron will be talking about caring for elderly parents and friends.
5:00 – We begin a new series on the Gospel of John. The opening verses of John (The Prologue) are considered some of the most powerful and beautiful words of Scripture ever penned. We begin our study of John with these words, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
