Message From Pastor Bob Huisman

Sunday, July 29
This Sunday morning at 9:30, we gather at Bicentennial Park for what could be a historic gathering of Christians for the city of Byron Center.  At the beginning of 2018, we were planning on only Heritage hosting the Byron Days outdoor worship service.  Today, there are 6 churches from 4 denominations participating.

Thank God for what looks like great weather and invite a friend to join you tomorrow morning at 9:30.  A collaboration of musicians will lead us, Byron Township Supervisor – Tom Hooker will share a moving testimony and we will feast on the Good News of the gospel and the fellowship of God’s people…and lots of homemade cookies 🙂

This Saturday morning began for me with the opportunity to pray for the runners in the Byron Days 5K race.   At 10:00, the Heritage Worship Float cruised through the parade and I joined a team of volunteers who handed out candy and invitations to tonight’s two movies in the ARK [ 4PM (Ferdinand) and 7PM (I Can Only Imagine)] combined with an invitation to Sunday morning worship.  Tickets to City Fest were also distributed along the parade route.

Pray that God will bless the community contacts that are made through the Byron Days events!!

There will not be an evening worship service this Sunday.

You are invited to come to the Prayer Room following any morning worship service where prayer volunteers are ready to listen and to pray for you and the concerns on your heart.
