Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday is the day of Holy Week when the church has remembered Jesus washing the disciple’s feet and the Last Supper. “Maundy” comes from the Latin word mandatum, or commandment, reflecting Jesus’ words “I give you a new commandment. Love one another”. This Thursday we will journey with Jesus from the Last Supper all the way to the cross in our preparation to celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
We will gather for worship on Thursday at 7:00 PM and include a celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
