To begin the season of Lent, we are hosting a brief Ash Wednesday service from 6:30-7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6.
This will include the opportunity to receive the imposition of ashes (the sign of the cross made with a mixture of ashes from last years Palm Sunday palms and oil) on the forehead or back of the hand.  Ashes are a reminder of our mortality and sin and the sign of the cross is a symbol of God’s forgiveness and salvation.
