“I WAS JUST WONDERING…
WHY DO YOU SAY YOUR RELIGION IS RIGHT AND EVERYONE ELSE’S IS WRONG?”
John 14:1-7
Introduction – Uncommon Decency
“World Religions” had come to that quaint Dutch village. And they have come in full force to our neighborhoods. When I was a child my family prayed regularly for the people out on the foreign mission field. Today that mission field is just down the road.

What We Don’t Say
Christians don’t say we are all talking about the same thing – The Elephant Analogy
Christians don’t say other religions have everything wrong
Christianity not only leads it members to believe people of other faiths have goodness and wisdom to offer, it also leads them to expect that many will live morally superior lives to their own. Most people in our culture believe that, if there is a God, we relate to him and “go to heaven” by leading a good life… Christians should expect to find people who are much nicer, kinder, wiser, and better than they are.
Tim Keller

No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ – CS Lewis at the Conference
