The Cross is the Great Revealer.
On the second Sunday of the season of Lent, we reflect on Christ’s sacrifice drawn from the songs and hymns of Easter. This Sunday we will reflect on Galatians 2:20 and 6:14 along with the words of the song, “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”.

This Sunday is the second Sunday of the season of Lent which helps us prepare to remember the sufferings of Jesus on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus from the grave. Our church-wide Bible Engagement continues this Sunday with the Gospel of John – see the bulletin insert online or in person.

Finally, consider this challenge during the season of Lent to fast from your phone or from social media for one 24-hour period per week for the next six weeks. You might consider turning off your phone or fasting from social media from Saturday at 6:00 PM to Sunday at 6:00 PM or any 24-hour period of your choosing. Use this “space” to listen to God, turn your heart to Him, and obey the Holy Spirit’s promptings to share God’s love with those around you.
