New Creation
On the fourth Sunday after Easter, we celebrate the profession of faith and baptism of Amanda DeWitt. Pastor Kevin will open God’s Word with us from 2 Corinthians 5 under the theme, “A New Creation”. We will also welcome the Joel and Lisa DeVries family along with the Jeff and Caitlin Schierbeek family.
Amanda will be baptized at Van Single Lake behind the home of Tom and Judy Johnson at 2331 Pleasant Pond in Byron Center at 11:30 AM.
Reminder: Bring a non-perishable food item for the food distribution ministry with our friends and neighbors at Byron Village. Place it on the table in the Fellowship Room.

5:00 PM – Sunday Evening Worship
WE BELONG
We will gather to lift up the name of Jesus above every other name and to worship our great God and King. Our only comfort of belonging to Jesus in life and in death is enjoyed by being aware of three things. The first is how great our sin and misery are. We will look at the biblical truths summarized in Lord’s Day 3 of the Heidelberg Catechism and ask the question, “How total is our total depravity?”. What is the difference between total depravity and absolute depravity? And where is our hope? Genesis 6, Psalm 36, and John 3 will guide us.
We will also cast lots for new elders and deacons during our worship time.

Our Church Renewal Team will listen to our charter members and founders of Heritage CRC. We want to learn more about our roots from those who have been here for 40 or more years. If you would like to listen in on their stories, please join us. Dessert will be provided.
