FUSION – FALL KICK OFF – GRAND LADY RIVER BOAT Sunday, Sept. 16. Join us on Sunday, September 16 for an evening on the Grand Lady River Boat in Jenison. We will be taking a 2 hour trip down the beautiful Grand River. Come enjoy a fun night with friends on the River Boat. We will be having pizza and snacks during our ride. You are welcome to invite a friend. Cost is $10 and will include your food. Beverages are sold separately on the boat for $1. We will leave church at 4:00 PM and return back by 8:00 PM. FUSION – FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN YOUTH PACKING EVENT On Friday, September 21 from 10-midnight, we will be joining other youth groups to help pack food for Feed My Staving Children. Plan on meeting at church at 9:30 PM, and we will return a little after midnight. Pizza will be provided during this event. Please sign up on the FUSION bulletin board if you plan to help out.
FUSION –“REVIVE” Mid Week Worship. This coming year starting on September 26, we will be having a mid-week “Gathering” on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights from 8 – 9:30 PM in the Cadet building. This will be a time where high school students, young adults and their leaders can come together for a time of worship, sharing, digging into God’s word, praying for each other and hanging out. Invite a friend and come check out the new “Revive” starting on Sept. 26.
FUSION –HIKING ON THE NORTH COUNTRY TRAIL #2 – Join us on Saturday, September 29 for an afternoon of hiking on a beautiful stretch of the North Country Trail north near White Cloud. Plan on leaving church at 1 PM and returning back to church around 8:30 PM. Wear good hiking shoes, a hat, sun glasses and weather appropriate clothes. The trail is a nice one to navigate. Bring a water bottle and a small back pack to carry sandwiches, snacks and water bottles. Sign up on the Fusion board outside Pastor Kevin’s office by September 22. You are welcome to bring a friend. Sandwiches, snacks and water will be provided.
FUSION – RETREAT WORK PROJECT AT TIMBER WOLF CAMP – On October 12-14, we have the opportunity to head up to Timber Wolf Camp for a weekend of serving, fun and growing. We will be helping serve meals for the Urban Young Life Camp taking place that weekend. As well as serving, we will have the opportunity to enjoy time together at this great camp – hiking, hanging out, playing games, worshiping, enjoying a camp fire and having fun. There is no cost, but you will need to sign up on the Fusion board by September 30 if you plan to go. Plan on bringing sleeping bag, pillow, and weather appropriate clothes.
FUSION WINTER RETREAT AT SPRING HILL CAMP On February 15-17, we will be going for a weekend retreat to Spring Hill Camp. We will leave church at 5:30 PM on Friday and return around 2:30 PM on Sunday. Details on what to bring will be sent to those who register. Cost is for students is $80 [Actual cost is $140]. A $25 deposit and registration is due by November 1. We will be joining with hundreds of other high school students from around Michigan for a weekend of worship and tons of fun! We need a firm commitment by Nov. 1 for all those wanting to go. We will not be able to add people later.
