Perspective: Jesus recognized that a life of prayer would face quitting points that people of prayer would come to situations and times when they would be inclined to give up. A life of prayer will face rough road, be ready to push through, to hang on, to keep on praying.

Perspective: Sin gets in the way of prayer. There are certain things that are just not safe for God to give us until we are ready.

Perspective: Some unanswered prayer is really answered in some other form and at some other time. God gives us what we would have asked for if we knew his will more completely.

Perspective: Sometimes there are no answers, sometimes the only thing can do is have faith.
