Small groups are vital to our spiritual growth. Small groups consist of 12 to 18 people who meet together regularly to study the Bible and discuss issues that are relevant to followers of Christ in today’s world. Groups usually meet once a month.
In addition to the regular small groups, Heritage also promotes the following groups:
-Nurture existing Groups.-Help create new small groups.
-Provide curriculum suggestions.
-Create and provide a small group atmosphere that coincide with current needs in the congregation.
-Generally there are one to two spotlight groups a year, meeting 6-8 times throughout the season.
-Created to reach out to the community through members of Heritage CRC.
-Joining together to be the hands and feet of Jesus through everyday things.
-Bringing together small groups of people to do community service both near and far.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
